Information on TEAM APP access
Craig Campbell, Executive Director of Rangers Reach, is shown presenting a cheque for $2,250 to Ken Mielke (a Stanley Park Optimist Ball Supervisor) and Rick Waud (Treasurer of The Optimist Club of Stanley Park). The funds were used to purchase infielder masks for the Club's Senior T-Ball Program which were put into service for the 2023 season and much appreciated by the participants. Note: Rangers Reach is providing an additional $2,250 for the purchase of infielder masks for our Junior T-Ball teams as well. Thanks to Rangers Reach and all those who purchased 50/50 tickets at the Kitchener Rangers and KW Titans home games at the Aud. (August 11, 2023)
Welcome to the Stanley Park Ball website. Effective for the 2024 season, the Stanley Park Ball Program is being operated by the Stanley Park Community Association. We hope you'll be as excited as we are over the upcoming season and utilize this site and the TEAM APP to keep informed about your team and in contact with your team-mates. As always, your contributions - photos, articles, news, etc. are all welcome and solicited. Work with your team's representatives: coaches & web-admin volunteers to keep in touch and record some history. Let's make our 2024 season an enjoyable one for everyone!
Since the mid-70s, there has been T-Ball in the Stanley Park area of Kitchener (except during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and, unfortunately, 2021). Since taking over the responsibility for running it, it was one of The Optimist Club of Stanley Park's major programs. In the fall of 2023, to ensure that local youth can benefit from participating, the Club completed arrangements with the City of Kitchener and the Stanley Park Community Association (SPCA) for SPCA to take over the operation and carry on. Overall, the offerings are not changing: Blastball, two levels of T-Ball and two levels of 3-Pitch. Each league is based on age with an overlapping year at the upper & lower ends of the age bracket to accommodate players of different skill levels, interest, maturity, etc. All play is all-inclusive ("co-ed") at the recreational level.
Information on each league is available on this website: Blastball Junior T-Ball Senior T-Ball Junior 3-Pitch Senior 3-Pitch
